A leading provider of commercial roofing solutions is seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive to join its team in the Greater Toronto Area. The organization takes a consultative approach to sales, focusing on understanding and meeting the needs of building owners, property managers, and construction industry professionals.

Position Overview

This role combines office-based responsibilities—such as scheduling appointments and client communication—with field activities, including site visits, preparing quotes, and closing sales. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients through major investments ranging from $25,000 to over $1 million.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients

Travel within the market to ensure timely project delivery and high client satisfaction

Manage existing accounts and generate new business leads

Conduct site visits and prepare detailed, professional proposals

Guide clients from initial contact through project completion

Manage product procurement, documentation, and delivery coordination

Provide clients with detailed information on product options and availability

Qualifications

Proven sales experience within the construction or building materials industry (roofing experience is an asset)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism is an asset

Strong relationship-building and client management abilities

Technical education or experience in construction or related fields is beneficial but not required

Ability to differentiate between various building materials and their applications

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is an asset

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience with internal CRM software

Additional Requirements

Ability to safely set up and climb an extension ladder to access commercial roofs

Reliable transportation for daily commuting

Valid Working at Heights certification (preferred)

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year (based on experience and performance)
