Requirements: We're looking for someone with relevant experience (2+ years) handling accounts payable and receivable tasks simultaneously.

Key Competencies
Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online (minimum 2+ years of experience preferred).
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple priorities without losing focus.
High degree of independence and accountability in managing daily tasks.
Fast response times with requests for estimates (A/R) and factory pre-payments (A/P)
Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, filters, and reporting).
Bonus points go to candidates with Salesforce knowledge or experience linking Salesforce with QBO an asset.


Description: We are currently hiring for an accounts payable/receivable coordinator for our team.
Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (A/P),
Match daily bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online with accuracy and attention to detail.
Enter and categorize vendor bills, ensuring proper matching to client projects or cost centers.
Process vendor payments using the company Visa and Plooto for direct deposit payments.
Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and approvals.

Accounts Receivable (A/R),
Create client invoices in Salesforce (synced to QBO) and ensure accuracy in linked accounts.
Prepare and send estimates/quotes directly in QuickBooks Online.
Update and maintain an accurate commission tracking log in Excel while invoicing.
Conduct past-due invoice follow-ups with professionalism and persistence to maintain healthy cash flow.

Additional / Growth Responsibilities:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations in QBO once settled into the role.
Participate in margin and project profitability reviews to identify trends or discrepancies.
Suggest improvements to accounting workflows and reporting accuracy.

Compensation:
Full time hours - 40hrs per week
Benefits after 3 month probation
Rate of pay will depend on the experience of the candidate.

Can either be in office full time (located in Aurora) or we can look at a hybrid model to have work from home days also as long as the candidate has a dedicated place to work at home.
