Description:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order while ensuring high quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards. This role supports kitchen operations by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, portion standards, and customer orders
Set up and stock workstations with ingredients and supplies
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure all food is prepared to quality and presentation standards
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages when needed
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and assist with kitchen cleaning duties
