Number: 909 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: East Gwillimbury Requirements: Ideal candidate profile: • 1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required • Ability to work in a team environment • Aptitude for basic computer skills • Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills • Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 meters after extensive training and with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a fall protection safety harness • Must be able to work in conditions of +5C up to -28C with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided including cold temperature gear, facial gear, gloves, and handwarmers • Must be able to work days, afternoons, nights and weekends Responsibilities: • Report product and equipment issues in assigned areas • Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner • Work together with team members to ensure equipment faults are rectified • Complete reports for damaged cases, and other general order-picking machine issues • Learn and understand system widgets for reporting purposes • Return all products and cases outside of automation to designated areas • Regularly sweep floors, and remove dust from and underneath equipment and panels • Monitor system performance and operational status • Escalate repetitive faults • Manipulate and drive system equipment as per system order message • Provide feedback and updates on system performance • Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program • Other duties as assigned Please note: We’re looking for someone flexible and adaptable, as our operations run 24/7 and shifts could include days, evenings, and nights. Your role in our team: • Operation and fault correction of automated material handling equipment in a fast production environment • Troubleshoot and correct system material flow issues • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate • Basic upkeep of system through effective management and clearing of products, packaging, and carrier material Hours per week: 40 with possible overtime Rate of Pay: TBD
