Job Title: General Labourer for Fabrication area   Date Posted: 01/07/26 Ref. Number: 920 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Keswick Requirements: •1 or more years previous experience in similar environment •Basic reading and writing arithmetic skills required •Must be Able to Read a tape measure •Good knowledge of raw material •Must be mechanically inclined. •Communication and team work •Punctual and reliable •Attention to detail and organized •Operating band saw and cold cut saw •Setup and operate drill press and tap holes •Read drawings and blueprints and cut parts per job sheet; make sure parts meet specifications of detailed drawing. •Set up and operate drill press and tap holes •Check quality of parts to ensure they meet specifications of drawing •Follow up on outstanding orders •Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and inform supervisor if and when repairs or outside service is required •Maintain a clean work area and work in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of everyone around you •May include use of overhead crane to move raw material •Knows safety procedures and works safely. Description: We are a full manufacturing facility from fabrication of sub assemblies, welding and paint, to complete sod harvesters. We are looking for a General Labourer for our Fabrication area. •Competitive wages •Working hours Monday through Thursday 7am-4pm and Fridays 7am-12pm. •Permanent Full-time hours (39 hours per week, occasional Saturdays and over time) •Medical, dental & life insurance benefits. •Immediate start date Normal working conditions for a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing, walking, carrying, stooping, crouching, sitting, grasping and reaching, May require lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to 50lbs. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to, steel toe footwear, eye, ear and hand protection. Hours per week: 39/week, occasional Saturdays and over time Rate of Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
