Requirements: Job Requirements

1.Completion of post-secondary diploma preferably in Business Management, Public Administration, or related field and/or combination of education and demonstrated experience.
2.Demonstrated Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge and experience in public works operations within a municipal government.
3.Demonstrated knowledge of computer programs inclusive of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), and EAM software such as CMMS.
4.Proven analytical, risk management assessment and problem-solving abilities.
5.Knowledge of leading and experience in applying Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) ten (10) Project Management Knowledge areas and their processes. Project Management certificate would be an asset.
6.Excellent written and verbal communication, process documenting, process mapping, and standard operating procedure.
7.Effective consulting, influencing, relationship-building capability including a strong customer service orientation.
8.Strong multi-tasker with flexibility to manage changing priorities/demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
9.Strong public relations, interpersonal skills and ability to interacts with staff at all levels.
10.Ability to work independently with minimal direction or as part of a team, and to respond appropriately to any situation which may arise.
11.Valid Class “G” driver’s license in good standing and a reliable vehicle to use while on corporate business.

Description: Under the direction of the Business Operations Specialist, Public Works Services, the Operations & Maintenance Analyst is responsible for documenting and enhancing operations and maintenance practices within Public Works Services (PWS). This includes the development and implementation of new processes through process mapping and the creation of standard operating procedures. This position is also tasked with developing and maintaining operations and maintenance schedules in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Analyst conducts maintenance related analysis and applies maintenance techniques like reliability and risk management performing comprehensive risk assessments. Responsible for documenting the function and importance of equipment and spare parts in support of effective operations and maintenance strategies across all Business Units of PWS.

Hours per week:
Rate of Pay: $38.50-$46.00/hour
