Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of relevant experience; or
•
1–2 years of relevant experience with post-secondary education or a related certification/license
•
Valid Counterbalance and Walkie Forklift Licenses required; candidates must present licenses during evaluation
•
Strong organizational skills – Ability to maintain order and track multiple shipments and inventory items
•
Attention to detail – Keen eye for identifying discrepancies or damage in shipments

Description:
A Receiving Clerk's primary responsibility is to oversee the receipt, verification, and storage of goods within a facility, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient workflow. This involves inspecting deliveries, verifying against purchase orders, and updating inventory systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Inspect and verify goods by carefully checking shipments for damage, discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders or invoices
•
Record and update detailed records of received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and dates
•
Manage inventory by ensuring proper storage and organization of received goods, using computer systems to track inventory levels
•
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to address issues or discrepancies
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the receiving area is tidy and safe for operations
•
Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment to move, load, unload, and position materials, pallets, and products safely and efficiently.
•
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and lifting equipment, including lubrication, battery charging, fuel refills, and pre-use inspections.
•
Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned

$20-$21/hr
