Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

Familiarity with power tools and construction sites is considered an asset

Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

Basic to intermediate math skills for measuring and material calculations

Own required safety gear, including:

CSA-approved safety boots

Construction-appropriate attire (jeans or khakis)

Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor work

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Growth

Entry-level wage: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience

Wage increases available based on skill development and performance

Higher wages negotiable for candidates with additional construction experience

Description: We are a residential construction company specializing in custom home builds, renovations, restorations, demolitions, and new construction projects. We manage all stages of residential construction from start to finish and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. We are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our growing team.

The General Labourer will support all phases of residential construction projects. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals eager to learn skilled trades within a professional construction environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with all stages of residential construction from framing to finishing

Operating basic construction equipment and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, and other hand tools)

Lifting, moving, and organizing construction materials such as plywood, drywall, framing lumber, and insulation

Assisting with framing, insulation, vapour barrier installation, drywalling, mudding, taping, and painting

Performing basic to moderately advanced measurements and calculations for cutting and material requirements

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site, including morning setup and end-of-day cleanup

Tracking and organizing tools, materials, and equipment to ensure accountability

Communicating effectively with supervisors, team members, trades, and suppliers

Learning to read blueprints and assisting with implementing construction plans

Working at heights and in varying weather conditions depending on the stage of construction
Hours per week: Monday - Friday 7:30-5:00
Rate of Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
