Number: 954 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: East Gwillimbury Requirements: Position Requirements: •1-2 years of hockey coaching experience is considered an asset. •Prior supervisory experience within a recreational setting is considered an asset. •Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certificate required. •Vulnerable Sector Police Check required. •Valid National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Certification or equivalent coaching certification required. •High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development (considered an asset) •Excellent ice-skating and instructing abilities. •Ability to design, lead and implement practice sessions based on age group. •Excellent customer service and leadership skills. •Ability to deal with difficult and confidential situations. •Excellent organizational skills and capable of dealing with multiple situations at once in a professional and courteous manner Description: Responsibilities: Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, the Hockey Instructor (Coach) will be responsible for teaching, leading and overseeing the hockey camps implemented for children and youth.
