Description:
TEAM Finance & Real Estate Group Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to support the development and maintenance of a structured, compliant, and scalable financial system across multiple business divisions, including mortgage brokerage, real estate services, and business development operations.
This role is designed as a structured training opportunity under Employment Ontario / Job Skills, providing hands-on experience in Canadian bookkeeping standards, corporate tax preparation support, payroll administration, HST compliance, and financial reporting systems.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries in QuickBooks Online
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and corporate card accounts (Float integration)
• Maintain organized digital documentation for audit readiness
• Assist with payroll processing through Rippling
• Ensure accurate remittance tracking (CPP, EI, income tax)
• Support T4 and year-end payroll documentation preparation
• Track and reconcile HST collected and paid
• Prepare HST working papers for filing
• Assist in corporate tax preparation (T2 support documentation)
• Support preparation of T1 General and capital gains tracking where applicable
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Track divisional revenue and pipeline reporting
• Assist in KPI reporting and financial dashboards
• Support management accountant functions (cost tracking, margin analysis)
• Assist in refining Chart of Accounts aligned with CRA and corporate reporting needs
• Participate in financial systems integration (QuickBooks, Float, CRM tracking)
• Support documentation of internal accounting SOPs
Hours per week:
Monday-Friday / Weekend Availability (if needed)
