Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor of Social Work Degree or equivalent combination of Bachelor level education and experience.
1-2 years work experience in a social service field.
Knowledge of community resources available in York, Durham and Peel Region and surrounding areas.
Ability to travel between York, Durham, and Peel Region.
Excellent communication (oral and written), time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated computer literacy including Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.
Experience with learning management systems (Learn Dash) and social media an asset.
Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening police check required.
Valid Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.

Job Status: Full Time, 21 Month Contract, March 2, 2026 - December 4, 2027.
Hours of Work: 40 Hours/Week.
Job Region: All Blue Door Locations (Aurora, York, Peel, and Durham Region, and Remote).
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, the Client Services Coordinator, will be responsible for the day-to-day social components of the program. This includes providing 1:1 support to address the needs of Construct participants, developing employment goals/outcomes, and performance tracking. The applicant must be willing to address issues head on and actively seek ways to support program participants. This person must be a team player – participating in team meetings, providing new ideas on how to enhance and improve the program, as well as being flexible in completing various tasks as needed with a consistency and within the values, goals and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Be the social arm of the program, leading mental health and social support for program participants, providing daily check-ins, coaching, and ensuring individual safety and well-being.
Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with participants to identify barriers, set personal and professional goals, and support ongoing engagement in the program.
Facilitate informal counseling sessions and well-being workshops aimed at promoting independence, resilience, and healthy relationship-building.
Lead participant recruitment efforts, including application screening, waitlist management, interviews, and intakes.
Collaborate with the Manager of Training and Employment, along with other support staff, to ensure comprehensive, consistent support for each participant.
Provide individualized wraparound supports to help participants overcome obstacles that may affect program participation and/or employment readiness.
Assist participants with career planning, job search strategies, and employment skills development.
Work in partnership with employers and program partners to secure employment placements and opportunities for participants.
Foster a lasting sense of community by engaging program alumni and supporting their continued growth.
Collaborate with on-site staff to proactively address any interpersonal or cultural challenges, including conflict resolution
Utilize effective conflict resolution skills in accordance with (Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
Work with support staff in connecting participants with existing community supports and services as needed.
Examine new opportunities helping the program grow and continue to build out the resources and supports offered to program participants.
Support clients to navigate community supports and services.

Provide referrals and follow-up as necessary.
Meets with manager on a regular basis and participates in completion of annual performance evaluation.
