Description: This is a junior-level position suited for candidates starting their careers. Professional experience is not required; however, we are looking for someone with basic mechanical skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of stamping presses, roll forming equipment and automated assembly equipment in a JIT environment. Major Areas of Responsibilities; Daily inspection and set-up of production equipment as required, Building maintenance, Feed coils into machines, Make modifications to machines as necessary, Perform test runs, Ensure all equipment safety guards are properly in place, Complete required inspection reports/checklists, Operate various shop tools including lathe, milling machine, Fabricate components for production machines, General housekeeping of work area, Other duties as required, Always adhere to health & safety policies and procedures. Hours per week: 40.0 – 42.5 hours/week Rate of Pay: $25/hour
