Number: 817 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Toronto Requirements: Responsibilities: As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians and site supervisors, gaining hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of glazing and façade installation. Your duties will include: Assisting in the installation of curtainwall, windows, doors, and glazing systems Supporting tradespeople with material handling, measurements, and layout preparation Learning how to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations Attending training sessions and learning the fundamentals of the trade Assisting with loading, unloading, and transportation of materials Demonstrating initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn from mentors Description: Qualifications: Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent No prior experience required — full training provided Previous exposure to construction or trades work is an asset Skills & Competencies Strong work ethic and positive attitude Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and outdoors Basic math and measurement skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and grow in a skilled trade As part of our team, you’ll benefit from: 4-day work week promoting work-life balance Hands-on training and mentorship from industry professionals Opportunity to advance Apprenticeship Program Competitive wages with room for progression as you gain experience Comprehensive safety training and certification support A collaborative, safety-first workplace culture Exposure to major, high-profile construction projects across Ontario Hours per week: 40 Rate of Pay: 20/hour
