Requirements: WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Successful completion of a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an approved equivalent combination of education and related experience.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems implementation, project management, and support on large, complex enterprise initiatives, including hands on experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Purview at an enterprise level.
A minimum of two (2) years of direct supervisory or people management experience.
Demonstrated experience leading transformational technology initiatives, including migrations from legacy systems to modern, cloud-based platforms (strongly preferred).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated equivalent project management expertise through professional experience.
Understanding of information management principles and applications, including security and access management, lifecycle management, optimizing search and retrieval, and overall information architecture.
Proven experience managing vendor relationships, including engagement and coordination with Microsoft.
Demonstrated project management expertise across the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, scoping, planning, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and final delivery.
Description: ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is responsible for applying project management rigor and leadership to the implementation and adoption of Microsoft 365 tools — including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Purview — as well as selected third party add‑-ons. The role provides enterprise‑wide leadership for collaboration and information management initiatives, delivering project management, planning, quality control and assurance, technical guidance, and strategic direction.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Lead the enterprise-wide implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 tools for collaboration and information management, including approved third-party addons, in alignment with the organization’s enterprise information management vision and strategy.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the migration of documents and data from legacy systems to Microsoft 365, ensuring adherence to established data quality, security, and integrity standards.
Provide project-based financial planning and oversight, including resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting; assign work and manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
Manage the analysis of user and business requirements, system design, prototyping, and technical documentation in collaboration with internal teams and external implementation vendors.
Support user adoption and operationalization through close collaboration with change management, communications, training, and client support teams.
Document existing and future-state collaboration and information management systems, design, and implement enhancements to improve enterprise productivity and automation. Establish, implement, and maintain system governance frameworks, including standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures related to collaboration and information management technologies.
Direct and support staff by providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship, ensuring customer and business requirements are met.
Identify risks and issues, and work with vendors and key stakeholders to assess options and develop effective, sustainable solutions.
Ensure collaboration and information management technology objectives and requirements are evaluated, planned, implemented, governed, and maintained in alignment with enterprise priorities.
Supervise staff, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, training and development, coaching, and mentoring; address performance and disciplinary matters in accordance with collective agreements and organizational policies.
Establish and maintain effective internal communication across the enterprise, as well as external communication with vendors and federal, provincial, regional, and community partners, as required.
Contribute as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team to the development of strategic plans, implementation roadmaps, and the ongoing support and evolution of collaboration, information management, and automation initiatives.
Hours per week: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Rate of Pay: $133,005.00 - $156,449.00
