Number: 711 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: Job Overview Position: Manufacturing Technician Location: Stouffville, ON Salary: $45,000/year Employment type: Full-time, permanent Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts Commute: Must reliably commute or relocate About the Company Global leader in air quality measurement technologies Clients include major organizations such as NASA, Google, UC Berkeley, and government agencies Products are designed and manufactured in-house Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic components and systems per technical drawings Solder and wire components (sensors, circuit boards, connectors) Install and integrate mechanical and electronic subsystems Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot issues Inspect assemblies for defects Occasionally perform sensor and equipment calibration Maintain detailed records of assembly, testing, and calibration Provide feedback on product design and manufacturing processes Qualifications Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly and testing Proficient in soldering, wiring, and PCB assemblies Attention to detail, troubleshooting, diagnostic skills Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards Familiarity with calibration methods (asset) Experience with 3D printing and laser cutting (asset) Microsoft Office proficiency Good communication skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with air quality sensors or environmental monitoring equipment Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, IoT Strong computer skills for data logging and testing software Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks) Additional Details One-day work trial may be part of the interview 3-month probation period Casual dress, dental and extended health care, life insurance, paid time off, on-site parking Description: Hours per week: Rate of Pay:
