Description: Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator to lead and execute a results-driven digital marketing strategy.

This role goes beyond content posting — the successful candidate will be responsible for:
•Increasing brand visibility
•Driving engagement with local families
•Supporting athlete registrations for programs and tryouts

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
•Manage and grow Eagles Basketball Club’s presence on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
•Publish 4–6 posts per week (Reels, carousels, graphics)
•Post daily stories where applicable

Content Creation
•Edit and format video content (training sessions, tryouts, events)
•Create engaging graphics and short-form video content
•Write compelling captions with strong calls-to-action (e.g., “Register Now”, “Book Tryouts”)
Campaign & Growth Strategy
•Develop and execute content aligned with key pillars, such as Athlete development, coach credibility, Community engagement, Tryout promotion, Parent-focused messaging
•Support marketing campaigns for: Summer training programs/camps, Tryouts and Fall/Winter season registration

Paid Advertising
•Assist with setup and management of: Facebook and Instagram ads
•Target local audiences (East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, Aurora, Bradford, Georgina)
•Monitor and optimize campaign performance
Community Engagement
•Respond to comments and direct messages
•Engage with local community groups, schools, and organizations
•Help build relationships with local families and followers
Performance Tracking
•Track and report on: Engagement metrics, Follower growth, Website clicks, Campaign performance
•Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
Role Details
•Type: Part-time / Contract
•Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
•Compensation: $20/hour
•Location: Hybrid (remote with occasional on-site content capture at HALP – East Gwillimbury)
