Number: 991 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Georgina Requirements: Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of assisted living, senior care, and patient care practices - Ability to administer medications following proper protocols - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and their families - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules Education: •AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Licence/Certification: •Driving Licence (preferred) •PSW certificate (required) Work Location: In person Description: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker in Georgina who puts clients first. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and support to individuals in their home - Administer medications as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional - Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary - Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Help with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry - Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior - Provide dementia care and support for individuals with memory loss - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Hours per week: Rate of Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour
