Description:
Position Summary
The Machine Builder is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mechanical systems, is comfortable using hand and power tools, and can interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
•Fit and install prefabricated parts to create sub-assemblies and finished products
•Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
•Follow proper assembly sequence, completing sub-assemblies independently
•Meet production schedules and maintain required pace of work
•Perform grinding, fitting, and adjustments to ensure proper fit and function
•Work from production schedules and assist with expediting parts when required
•Inspect completed products to ensure proper function and safety compliance
•Maintain high standards of quality and accountability for own work
•Follow all safety procedures and company policies
