Excellent decision-making and time-management skills. Post secondary education and/or related Quality Assurance experience. Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP systems. Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset. Description: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible to ensure the production process meets our food safety systems (HACCP) and quality standards. Processes from incoming of raw materials, processing of goods and shipment of finished product. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and demonstrates an ability to work independently and be pro-active in identifying deviations and corrective actions. The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Key functions of this role include: Conducting product sampling and environmental swabbing. Ensuring day-to-day manufacturing practices meet accepted food safety and product quality standards. Maintaining accurate documentation related to Quality Assurance activities and HACCP. Monitoring and following Good Manufacturing practices. Hours per week: Monday-Friday / Weekend Availability (if needed) 40 Rate of Pay: TBD
