• Knowledge of food safety standards (Food Safe Level 1 preferred).
• Willingness to work flexible schedules based on programming—think evening shifts, weekend crowds, and late-night karaoke rushes.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role (standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs).

Position: Second Cook (Part-Time)
The Role at a Glance:
This position plays a key role within our hotels. We are looking for cooks who want to learn and develop their craft whilst gaining experience from our culinary leadership team who have domestic and international experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in various meal periods, cuisines and culinary styles and this is the perfect opportunity for cooks who are ready for the next step.
Responsibilities:
• Execute dishes to the highest standards, following established recipes and plating specifications.
• Maintain impeccable station organization, ensuring all mise en place is prepped and stored correctly.
• Work cleanly and efficiently, following proper food handling and safety protocols.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring product quality and adherence to inventory systems.
• Participate in daily cleaning duties and deep cleaning tasks as part of the team’s responsibilities.
• Work cohesively with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and the events team to ensure smooth service across all kitchen operations.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and BOH team to maintain a smooth, professional kitchen environment.
• Execute banquet/event menus with precision when scheduled for event shifts.
• Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management—because we all pitch in to keep the show going.
