Number: 901 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Mount Albert Requirements: Requirements •Valid G Driver’s Licence •Reliable transportation to and from job sites •Valid WHMIS certification •4-Step Health & Safety certification •Working at Heights certification is considered an asset (training can be provided) •Previous carpentry experience or familiarity with hand tools is required •Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labour safely •Comfortable working around animals including dogs and small livestock Description: Opportunity to Transition into Full-Time We are a growing carpentry company specializing in: •Restaurant fit-ups •Millwork manufacturing and installation •Residential cabinetry •Service and repair work •Fences and decks We are currently looking for 1–2 motivated part-time employees with the opportunity to move into full-time positions in the near future. Responsibilities •Assist with finish carpentry and millwork installation •Support rough carpentry projects including decks, fences, and repairs •Use hand and power tools safely and effectively •Perform general labour duties including material handling and site cleanup •Assist with maintenance and carpentry work at our farm-based shop property What We’re Looking For We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who: •Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn •Can work independently and as part of a team •Take pride in quality workmanship •Understand the importance of professionalism on job sites While we are willing to train the right candidate, some prior carpentry or tool experience is necessary. Schedule •Part-time hours to start •Full-time opportunities available soon •Some evening and weekend work will be required •We are willing to work around family commitments and scheduling where possible Dress Code & PPE •Work boots are mandatory •No track pants or shorts on most job sites •No excessively ripped clothing •No profanity, alcohol, or drug-related graphics or language on clothing •No political statements on clothing Company shirts will be provided after the probation period and may be required on certain job sites. Additional Information Our business operates from a small farm property where some shop and maintenance work may take place. The property is also home to a registered animal rescue, so applicants must be comfortable around animals.
