Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required, but an asset. Experience: Manufacturing experience would be an asset, full training provided. Specific Skills: Weigh resins and colorants according to formula; Place weighed materials in mixing machines; Set up and operate rotational moulding machine to mould plastic products, finishing of plastic parts. Able to use hand tools. Prepare product to ship to customer. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Manual dexterity; Handling heavy loads +50 lbs.; Ability to distinguish between colours, Long periods of standing. Able to handle hot weather in the summer. Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Transportation/Travel Information: Own Transportation – main intersection – 404 & Dais Drive/ Harry Walker Parkway. Essential Skills: Reading text; Communication; Working with others, Good command of the English language Personal Suitability: Accurate; Team player; Excellent oral communication; Dependability; Reliability; Organized Salary: Hourly: $__21.50 40 to 44 hours per week regular pay.(Overtime after 44 hours) Review after 3 months. Description: Specific Skills Day to Day 1. Set up and operate rotational moulding machine to mould plastic products a. Put powder in moulds. b. Close mould. c. Start Machine. d. Fill out Production Sheet (each run). 2. Remove part from Mould and reload powder for next cycle. 3. Inspect part to make sure no imperfections. 4. Trim parts of excessive plastic (as per customer requirements). This is done when the machine is processing parts which is approximately 45 minutes. 5. Prepare product to ship to customer. • put on skids or put in boxes. • Stretchwrap skids. • Label skids. • Take skid down to Shipping Area using pump truck. Hours per week: 40 - 44 hours/wk Rate of Pay: $21.50
