Number: 913 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: East Gwillimbury Requirements: Ideal candidate profile: •1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required •Ability to work in a team environment •Aptitude for basic computer skills •Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills •Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 meters after extensive training and with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a fall protection safety harness •Must be able to work in conditions of +5C up to -28C with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided including cold temperature gear, facial gear, gloves, and handwarmers •Must be able to work days, afternoons, nights and weekends Description: Responsibilities: •Report product and equipment issues in assigned areas •Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner •Work together with team members to ensure equipment faults are rectified •Complete reports for damaged cases, and other general order-picking machine issues •Learn and understand system widgets for reporting purposes •Return all products and cases outside of automation to designated areas •Regularly sweep floors, and remove dust from and underneath equipment and panels •Monitor system performance and operational status •Escalate repetitive faults •Manipulate and drive system equipment as per system order message •Provide feedback and updates on system performance •Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program •Other duties as assigned Your role in our team: •Operation and fault correction of automated material handling equipment in a fast production environment •Troubleshoot and correct system material flow issues •Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate •Basic upkeep of system through effective management and clearing of products, packaging, and carrier material Salary range: $21-$26/hr Hours per week: Rate of Pay: $21.00-$26.00/hour
