Number: 470 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Keswick Requirements: Considered an asset (but not required): Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Work, Behavioural Sciences, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline — either completed or currently being completed. Experience with children who have autism or other additional needs Exceptional attention to detail. Access to internet/text message on a regular basis Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills. Comfort working in an upbeat team environment. Energetic, flexible and enthusiastic personality. Responsible and organized. The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle. Current Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required if selected. ABA experience is an asset but not a necessity. Note: Special consideration will be given to candidates residing under 35 minutes from our location. We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill a part time, permanent, entry-level position, providing 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism. Comprehensive, on-site training will be provided for all new staff. Pay structure is based on hours worked and training completed. A comprehensive insurance benefits package option is offered after one year of service. Applicants with prior childcare experience are preferred. Students in the process of Behavioural Sciences, Child & Youth Worker or Early Childhood Education programs are also welcome to apply.
