Requirements:
Previous tree care, climbing or arboriculture experience is an asset.
Strong interest in developing a career in arboriculture and professional tree care.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding work.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe equipment handling.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
Description:
Work alongside experienced team members to expand knowledge of professional tree care practices.
Assist senior arborists with tree pruning, trimming and removal projects in residential and commercial settings.
Perform tree climbing duties based on experience and skill level.
Receive hands-on training in tree climbing techniques, equipment operation and safe work practices.
Assist with the safe handling and maintenance of climbing gear, tools and tree care equipment.
Provide ground support to climbing arborists and other crew members.
Remove branches and debris from work areas and operate chipping equipment as required.
Maintain clean, organized and safe job sites throughout each project.
Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
Work collaboratively with the crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
