Position Summary
The Pool Renovation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing renovation projects from start to completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role combines project management, customer service, construction oversight, estimating, and business development responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager will coordinate communication between clients, trades, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the renovation process. This position provides professional project oversight while delivering a high-quality customer experience from project start to completion.
The ideal candidate will have strong pool renovation or construction experience, excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to project delivery.
Working Schedule
Monday to Friday
Daily start time of 6:00 AM at the Stouffville office
End times vary based on project requirements, customer meetings, site visits, and operational needs
Occasional evening and Saturday work may be required during peak construction periods
Regular travel throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario
Reliable transportation required
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Manage all aspects of assigned pool renovation projects from start to completion.
Coordinate communication with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion.
Identify and resolve project challenges and production delays.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and safety.
Ensure work is completed according to project scope, specifications, and company standards.
Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors efficiently.
Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining profitability.
Provide progress updates to management and clients.
Maintain project documentation, records, and reports.
Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the renovation process.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
Guide clients through material selections and project decisions.
Manage customer expectations through clear communication.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure projects meet quality and customer satisfaction standards.
Estimating & Sales Support
Conduct site visits and evaluate renovation opportunities.
Assist with renovation estimates and project proposals.
Identify opportunities for additional renovation services and upgrades.
Support sales through technical knowledge and customer consultation.
Develop renovation solutions that meet customer needs and budgets.
Build strong client relationships to support future opportunities.
Construction Oversight
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
Ensure compliance with Ontario Health & Safety requirements.
Monitor subcontractors and crews to ensure work is completed according to scope and schedule.
Assist with procurement and ordering of materials.
Coordinate deliveries and project logistics.
Resolve site challenges and production issues.
Monitor job progress, costs, and reporting.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in swimming pool renovation, pool construction, or project management.
Strong understanding of pool construction and renovation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling skills.
Strong customer service and communication abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of construction contracts and subcontractor management.
Understanding of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety requirements and applicable building codes.
Ability to manage project costs and maintain profitability.
Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
Preferred Assets
Previous estimating or construction sales experience.
Experience preparing renovation proposals and quotations.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
First Aid & CPR certification.
WHMIS certification.
Working at Heights certification.
Experience with construction management software.

Occasional lifting of materials and equipment up to 30 lbs.
PPE required when visiting active job sites, including safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and high-visibility clothing.
