Requirements:
• Strong knowledge and experience maintaining and troubleshooting Production, Packaging and Building equipment
• High school education, 2 year trade tech or equivalent preferred
• 2 year experience in factory maintenance preferred
• 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge and ability in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Must be able to read, write, interpret documents and understand machine drawings
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English in order to understand and follow work, GMP and safety instructions
• Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks
• Required to lift and/or carry up to 55 pounds
• Must be able to work any day/or shift including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
Description:
• Works in cooperation with technical and production supervisors or outside contractors as directed
• Forms, fabricates, and assembles components for repairs and/or modifications to existing equipment as well as experimental projects
• Assists other maintenance personnel as needed
• Addresses building maintenance issues as required
• Keeps work areas and maintenance shop neat and orderly
• Complies with all safety GMP requirements
• Completes required and appropriate paperwork
• Performs other tasks as directed by management
• Repair and maintenance of processing and packaging equipment
• Design and fabrication of equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of the operations
• Perform building maintenance, lubrication, requisition of parts and supplies
Hours per week:
Weekdays + Weekends (rotational shifts)
