Number: 809 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Richmond Hill Requirements: We are currently seeking an experienced, caring, and dependable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide in-home assistance to an elderly client in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting seniors with dementia or memory-related challenges and demonstrate patience, empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. This is an ongoing part-time opportunity for a PSW who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and providing consistent, high-quality care. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Personal Care & Companionship – Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support. – Assist with daily living activities while encouraging the client's independence. – Gently encourage and assist with personal hygiene and bathing when appropriate. – Provide reassurance and maintain a calm, positive environment. – Engage the client in meaningful conversation and appropriate activities. – Observe and report any changes in the client's well-being or behaviour. Meal Preparation & Nutrition – Prepare simple, nutritious breakfast meals according to the client's preferences and dietary needs. – Encourage healthy eating and adequate hydration. – Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. – Check for expired food items and assist with proper food storage. Light Housekeeping – Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home. Description: Part-Time, Ongoing Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Every Other Day, Including Weekends Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (2 hours per shift) Anticipated Start Date: October 30, 2026 Hours per week: 14 Rate of Pay: 22/hour
