Number: 712 Type: Full Time Part Time Location: Stouffville Requirements: Mechatronics Engineer • Location: Stouffville, Ontario • Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year • Experience: 3–5 years in mechatronics engineering, product development, or a related field • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline • Job Type: Full-time, permanent, in-person Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software components. • Develop and test prototypes and support products through validation and production. • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PCB, sensor, and embedded software issues. • Perform calibration testing and analyze system performance. • Use CAD software to develop mechanical components and assemblies. • Program and debug embedded systems and microcontrollers using C++. • Maintain engineering documentation and contribute to product and manufacturing improvements. • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams. Key Qualifications: • Knowledge of C++ programming is required. • Experience with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD software. • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and embedded systems. • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, hardware integration, and troubleshooting. • Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Experience with sensors, environmental monitoring, IoT devices, PCB design, microcontrollers, Linux, and calibration systems would be an asset.
