The successful candidate will be responsible for moving and positioning trailers within the yard, backing trailers into loading docks, and operating a forklift to move, load, and unload products and materials, including pallets, warehouse products, agricultural produce, and farm supplies. Key Responsibilities Move and position trailers safely within the yard. Back trailers into designated loading and unloading docks. Couple and uncouple trailers, including connecting and disconnecting air lines and electrical connections where required. Conduct basic inspections of yard vehicles, trailers, and forklifts. Operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize products and materials. Transport pallets, agricultural produce, and farm supplies between designated areas. Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse, shipping, and receiving staff. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow workplace safety procedures. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Ontario G driver's licence. Previous forklift operating experience is required. Previous shunting, trailer manoeuvring, and backing experience is preferred. Experience coupling and uncoupling trailers is an asset. Appropriate forklift operator training and demonstrated competency. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
