Requirements:       A successful candidate will meet the following requirements: • Hold a valid Certificate as a Black Belt in Taekwondo- preferably with World Taekwondo • Reliable mode of transportation to get to work. • Have at least 1-year experience teaching children. • Communicate clearly in English – Spoken, written, reading. • Owns a cellphone with data plan for communication. • Candidates with High- school Diploma or equivalent are preferred, but not a deal breaker. • Undergo a criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and other background checks with satisfactory results (age appropriate). • Not have a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted. (Age appropriate) • Be safety-minded, courteous, and able to demonstrate an appreciation for the importance of customer service. • Ideally, have experience working with children & the public. • CPR Level C and First Aid Certified • Babysitting course (age appropriate). Hours of coverage: 4pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday September to June Off on all Stat Holidays Off on Winter/ Spring Break
Description: Job description: • Maintaining the MuDo Brand- you will be representing MuDo while teaching our students. • Communicate clearly and interact with parents, school employees, passengers, co-workers & the public in a courteous, professional manner. Remuneration of $15-$20 per hour is based on experience, knowledge, and transferrable skills. Payroll is distributed on a bi-monthly basis. Conditions of employment: • Completed Criminal record check. • Proof of Black Belt Certification • Proof of teaching experience • Payroll information (Social Insurance Number, Identification) • Successful test of qualifications and completion of three paid teaching classes to demonstrate ability. • Agree to training with MuDo Academy for a minimum of one class per week to learn Mudo Academy’s syllabus and teaching style throughout employment with MuDo Academy. Start Date: Immediate ** 3 paid teaching classes.
Hours per week: Monda-Friday 10 hours/week
Rate of Pay: $15-$20
