Requirements:       Post-secondary education in Plumbing, Interior Design or equivalent experience Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in sales is required Experience with plumbing fixtures and related items for kitchen/bathrooms required Plumbing showroom experience preferred Computer literate; Basic MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven sales ability and customer service oriented Self-motivated and results driven with a high level of professionalism Highly organized with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments Team player that contributes to a positive work environment and promotes teamwork Able to work on weekends
Description: As a first point of contact in the showroom, you will provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving the customers with respect to the sale of luxury showroom products. You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle with a goal to achieve targeted sales and margins. This position is also designed to incorporate outside sales and marketing of The Water Closet brand. The role reports to the Showroom Supervisor and is required to work on Saturdays. Determining the needs of the client, provide product selection assistance - influence buying choices and suggest add-ons - in order to complete the sale. Prepares quote for customer and follows-up within 24 hours to successfully proceed with an order. Complete the order and follow up with the customer on availability of product, method of payment and pick-up/delivery of product Recruit new sales accounts through company and outside sales program and develop sales accounts focused on The Water Closet’s Interior Design clientele Establish close connections with customers focusing on the quality and quantity of customer relationships with a goal to grow existing account’s sales and margins Initiates telemarketing calls and showroom tours to industry professionals and new customers such as builders, designers etc. in conjunction with showroom program outlines Participates as required with sales, manufacturer reps and customer service department in developing new programs, display specifics, and new product promotions Participate in Home and Trade shows, after-hour events, industry events, training sessions and meetings, including outside of normal work hours Assist in organizing and hosting in-house events Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
Hours per week: Monday - Saturday (day off in the week) 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
