Requirements:       Strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge, as well as knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Detail oriented, analytical and safety conscious with excellent relationship management. Able to work with a sense of urgency and high standards to meet deadlines and manage completing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated team player with high integrity and initiative. Willing and able to work shifts as required in support of the business. Managerial or supervisory experience in similar capacity required. A Licensed Heavy Equipment (421A) licence an asset but not required.
Description: Oversee equipment and component repairs as necessary including inspections of shop equipment and tooling. Provide or coordinate employee training. Manage equipment repairs including scheduling of employee’s, assignment of duties and overseeing daily work, coordinating service or repairs performed by third parties, ensuring timely delivery of required repair components and coordinating field repairs and service performed by either employees or third parties. Maintain work records and files; assist with processing of work orders and data entry as required. Assist in repair, construction, maintenance or other tasks as needed to ensure efficient shop operation. Review work completed to ensure it in conformance with manufacturer and legislative requirements. Enforce all Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Maintain adequate shop supplies (tools, consumables, etc.) to ensure efficient shop operation. Operate machinery such as forklifts, loaders, etc. as needed to facilitate repairs. Ensure that shop areas are clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.
Hours per week: Monday - Friday ( 40 )
Rate of Pay: $ 27.95 - $ 35.27 per hour
