Requirements:       High school diploma or equivalent. At least 4-6 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role preferably in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry. Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and Health and Safety is preferred. Good planning, organization and time management skills. Demonstrates a team oriented mindset. Results oriented, sense of responsibility and good judgment. Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, initiative and resourcefulness. Good communicator, motivator with a positive attitude. Proficient with computer applications. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Description: Engage full time employees and temporary workers within the workplace by providing effective training, communication, and follow up. Identify line performance improvement opportunities, participates in the elaboration and implementation of production processes on the line. Responsible for set-up lines and equipment for daily operations as per production schedule. Complete changeovers between products to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot production, equipment and quality problems as quickly as possible to reduce lost production time and product waste. Complete daily attendance records for all full-time employees and temporary workers. Ensure PDC’s Health and Safety policies are followed and report any violations or unsafe acts to the Production Supervisor. As well, identify and participate in the corrective action of any unsafe equipment and or workplace hazards. Ensure daily adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Must be enforced throughout the daily production. Enforce First-In and First-Out (FIFO) for the use of all WIP’s, ingredients and packaging materials. Follow all production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Product Standards, and instructions for the product being produced.
Hours per week: Monday - Friday ( Afternoon's) ( 40 )
