Requirements:       Smart serve certificate required. Food Handler Certification an asset. Must be able to handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and honesty. Service oriented individual with a proven track record of customer satisfaction. Basic knowledge of golf and golf course operations an asset. Must be friendly, well groomed, courteous, honest and reliable. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management and other staff. Must be self-motivated and goals driven. Must be able to resolve simple customer service conflicts for related area. Must attend any training courses required. Flexible scheduling, but must be available 7 days per week. Due to the nature of the golf business – must work weekends, must work shifts.
Description: Responsible for welcoming guests and making them feel comfortable. Responsible for taking, serving and clearing food and beverage orders from guests. Maintain daily inventories. Complete daily log of activity. Complete daily opening/closing and cleaning checklists. Responsible for operating a point of sale computer and a credit card/debit machine. Responsible for taking cash payments and making change for transactions. Cash out and reconcile balances at the end of each shift. Complete responsibility for all money in the assigned till and any shortages incurred. Responsible for general clean up of work environment. Clean and wipe all tables, window, vacuum floors etc. Load, unload and operate a dishwasher when required. Stock food and beverage products in the inventory locations following Management guidelines. Assist in the set up, serving and clean up of banquets/tournaments.
Hours per week: Monday - Sunday ( 40 )
