Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprentice, minimum 3rd-year.
Familiarity with electrical industrial installations, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Afternoon shift 2pm to 10:30pm with occasional daily and weekend overtime.
Exposure to food products flour, starch, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy etc.
Comfortable working in an industrial frozen food manufacturing environment with the associated noise/dust levels and varying temperatures refrigerated (6-8 Celsius) and freezer (-18 Celsius).

Adhere to all Health and Safety and Food safety regulations, practices and policies.
Support production with hands on approach to resolve mechanical and machinery issues.
Work with maintenance planner to plan specific repairs for scheduled downtime issue and follow up on preventative/predictive maintenance inspections and procedures.
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance work orders as planned.
