Requirements:       Possesses, or working towards, high school diploma, GED or equivalent. Service industry experience considered an asset. Strong people and customer service orientation (Royal Service. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to work in collaboration and cooperativeness with others. Strong investigative orientation (naturally curious with problem-solving tendencies). Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment. Demonstrated enthusiasm; positive demeanour. Self-starter; takes initiative; works well with minimal supervision. Ability to learn and use new technology. Working conditions:Retail store environment. Must wear uniform and safety shoes.Regular heavy lifting up to Team Member’s physical capabilities.
Description: A Team Member in Sales delivers a fun, values-oriented, safe and unique shopping experience while providing Royal Service to our customers while working on the sales floor; builds relationships with and engages customers in conversations and/or responds to questions to assist them with their purchases. Greets and approaches customers and determines their needs and wants; provides Royal Service and helps create a Royal Service culture on sales floor; delivers a fun and unique shopping experience. Major Accountabilities: Helps customers with solutions, solving their problems and inspiring their ideas using established techniques; responds to basic product knowledge questions. Knows how to or is cross-trained in merchandising and maintains cleanliness in their section. Able to assist with processing customer purchases if required. Supports fellow Team Members by providing product knowledge in their respective category. Works together as a team by offering and providing assistance to fellow Team Members that may require their help. Provides customer assistance in the front lines for basic product knowledge questions to customers. Support the store leadership team in completion of tasks provided on a daily basis.
Hours per week: weekdays, evenings and/or weekends. 40
Rate of Pay: $14.25
