Requirements:       - Completion of college courses in Inventory and Warehouse Management an asset. - Experience with Great Plain(GP) considered a definite asset. - Minimum two years of experience in Inventory Management/Warehousing- - Strong understanding of Supply Chain/ Inventory Management. - Have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work. - Have excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and internal BFG staff. - Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Description: - Performs receiving office duties, including data entry of PO’s, verifying purchase orders, completing claims, filling out of the daily receiving logs, and generating various inventory reports. - Ensures the inventory counts are completed accurately for audits and periodic cycle counts as require. Completes Daily Cycle count assignments. - Researches variances between actual physical stock count and computerized balance and adjusts stock to the correct quantities. - Monitors the rotation of products, ensuring the condition of products in the assigned area is up to standard for sale - Ensures proper stock rotations to minimize obsolete inventory. - Verifies quantities, serial numbers and enters incoming purchase orders and outgoing stock transfers into inventory control system. ·Communicates and assist Procurement department on the status of any dated product. Responsible for quality on all products, including checking & recording all date sensitive items. - Effectively communicates any inventory related issues that will impact sales, procurement department, and works with purchasing when inventory variances are discovered. - Performs analysis of current inventory and/or usage, ensures the proper placement of product in the warehouse bins throughout the warehouse, placing new product in the warehouse taking into consideration size of the item, quantities. - Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties. - Act as liaison between logistics and program management. - Comply with the organizations environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards. - Prepare reports, metrics and analysis with the use of functions on MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) for distribution within the organization - Perform any other duties as required by the Warehouse Manager.
