Description: If you are good with numbers and also have a good sense for marketing, we would love to offer you the opportunity to join our Marketing team as a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst position is ideal for people who recently graduated with major in highly quantitative discipline (such as statistics, math or operation research) and would like to apply their academic knowledge towards helping make impactful decisions relating to national tv, print and online advertising. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for sorting, analyzing, identifying, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets. Make recommendations in collaboration with others based on findings. Utilize data points to identify growth opportunities. In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions. Perform basic statistical analysis for projects and reports – while also developing graphs and presentations of project results. Generate routine and ad hoc reports as needed. Lead management and campaign associated results. Metrics reporting on campaigns. Create customer lists as needed for marketing initiatives and campaigns. May include data extractions from current CRM system. Preparation of reports for Management, which may include creation of graphs or power point presentations to visually explain the statistical data for the purpose of strategic planning, with Sales Groups or Management. Gain a full understanding of the customer market segments served by our various business units, the products and services they represent, and use statistical data to guide our business growth in a positive direction. This includes analysis of historic trends and forecasting future conditions. Assist the Marketing Team in developing the proper metrics and dashboards to accurately provide ROI and results of marketing campaigns and promotional efforts. Gathering market data such as Voice of Customer surveys may be required. Responsible for compiling sales reports. Responsible for Market Research reporting.
Hours per week: Monday to Friday 40 hrs/ week
