Requirements:       Post-secondary University Degree. Computer savvy for Sales tools development, marketing experience. Minimum of three (3) years of Sales experience, food industry experience is an asset. Produce knowledge preferred 2+ years’ experience in a customer sales role. Computer, Printer, Telephone, Photocopier, Fax machine Software: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Publisher, Internet, AS400 experience required. Fluent in English & proven ability to work and communicate affectively (written and oral)
Description: Work directly with OPCO key Produce Merchandising Managers, Procurement Analysts, Operations, Merchandising, Produce Specialists and all Sales (MA’s, Multi Units and Healthcare) leads to identify Sales growth opportunities and to provide targeted Sales tools, education, training and product programs to drive growth at each of our locations. Work with OPCO to facilitate Sales needs deliverables for identified and agreed to customer opportunities, new product development and recommendations for strategic pricing. Strengthen customer relationships and knowledge understanding via proactive involvement in OPCO STIR Program and participating in selected and targeted MA customer meetings. Effective analysis of competitive landscape, market pricing to protect / maintain existing business and to provide recommendations for new business pursuit. Provide product portfolio recommendations with respect to product lineup simplification, profitability enhancement opportunities. Assist in development of standard Sales report needs and ongoing business review analysis for opportunity identification. Create and provide Sales communication tools to include standardized Product information catalogue, website implementation, Promotional Program POS, Monthly targeted items, Category Selling stories and market trend information. Provide effective communication and direction working closely with CSR’s with respect to internal administrative Sales needs. Act as primary liaison for all employer's Sales meetings,Customer Plant tours and trade show functions. Facilitate all food shows, open houses, and events for our employer in our region.
Hours per week: Monday - Friday ( 40 )
