Description: General Assembly: - Reviews documentation for product requirements. - Organizes all equipment and material to aid in the efficient assembly of product. - Selects harness template or board, put sample on board and set-up testing program. - Obtains all necessary cables, extensions and assemblies. - Verify cut list with wires, printing requirements and terminals. - Complete one harness or assembly and install on board. Lengths are verified and sleeving is cut to length. - Requests quality control to perform layout verification and once approved continues with the rest of the customer order (provided that it is not a highly visible problem, the assembler can continue until inspected). - In-process inspections include; checking for damaged terminals, crimping defects (stray strands), any printing errors, and tightness of ties, ensuring that all pins and sockets are plugged all the way in and point-to-point adds before testing to verify correct location. - Troubleshooting includes; check to add wires for the wrong location, plug proper location that all wires are properly located and check connection/hardware on board. - Operate all equipment in a safe manner, according to health and safety requirements. - Maintain an efficient work operation and ensure that the workstation is kept neat and tidy at all times. Cutting Technician: - Reviews documentation for product requirements. - Organizes all equipment and material to aid in the efficient operation of machinery. - Review the cut list instruction page for any special requirements. - Calibrate machine to operation requirements, run machine and check to ensure that cut wires match the cut list and check each 100 wire cuts within one run or at each and every different wire set-up. - Check for wire type, wire length, strip length, printing clarity, printing accuracy, strand count, correct gauge and correct wire color. - Ensure that all processed conductors conform to the attributes included in the product documentation. - Bundle wires in appropriate amounts and tag, load cart or crate until the job is complete. - Complete all necessary production paperwork and sign all required documents, to ensure operation traceability/workmanship and accurate labour reporting. - Maintain an efficient work operation and ensure that the workstation is kept neat and tidy at all times. - Operate all equipment and tooling in a safe manner, according to the health and safety requirements. Terminating: - Reviews documentation for product requirements. - Organizes all equipment and material to aid in the efficient operation of machinery. - Ensures that the terminating equipment is properly set-up and adjusted to produce the desired results. - Ensures that all quality requirements are followed and that the terminating manual and instruction sheets are followed. - Ensures that all documentation contained in the production package is complete and accurate at all times. - Ensures that all machines are operated safely in accordance with company guidelines. - Must ensure that the workstation is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Rate of Pay: $14.10/hr with increase after 3 months.
