Requirements:       High School diploma or GED. Enrolled in an apprenticeship program with a recognized culinary school and/or be willing to complete the formal training preferred. Previous relevant cooking experience. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Description: Know and observe objectives, policies standards and procedures as set forth by the Executive Chef and Management. Ensure excellent and consistent production to achieve prompt and efficient service. Complete prep in a timely manner. Carve meats, prepare dishes and serve as required. Participate in food demonstrations to improve skills of self and other staff. Follow recipe guidelines and adjust to specific quantities. Ensure quality and freshness of product being used, while at the same time keeping waste to a minimum. Ensure that station is properly set-up at all times. Knowledge of the operation of all kitchen machinery and maintain its cleanliness. Maintain a clean and safe workstation at all times. Ensure that food storage areas are clean.
Hours per week: Monday - Sunday ( 30 -40 )
