Requirements:       • Minimum of 1-year experience in an office environment and/or College Certification course in Insurance Administration • Excellent customer service attitude with an ability to demonstrate this while taking calls • Professional and comfortable adapting to new situations with the ability to perform well, negotiate and problem solve in dynamic situations • A strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize • Ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality of clients’ information • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new computer systems and work with industry related software programs • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook), Adobe Reader, Internet Search Engines (Google Chrome, Mozilla, IE) • Excellent verbal & telephony skills with the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose professional correspondence • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel, Outlook • Ability and willingness to contribute to team effort by accomplishing results as needed • Ability to communicate in a second language is an asset (Spanish, Mandarin, French)
Description: Provide and Maintain high standards of Customer Service to Clients, Insureds, their families and guardians • Answer multi-line phone, assist callers, route phone calls and take messages • Liaise with other Departments as necessary • Process client applications while maintaining strict accurate Data entry • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing • Type and proofread correspondence • Respond to electronic enquiries • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually and electronically • Prepare ID Cards, and envelopes in preparation for mailing • Monitor and assist with office supplies inventory • Maintain historical records by filing documents • Assist with month-end reconciliation • Contribute to and work as a member of our team • Other duties as assigned
Hours per week: Monday to Friday 44
Rate of Pay: 35K
